    Intentional walk

    I saw it first time last night in a GA high school game. Batter went yard first at bat. Next two at bats she was automatically given first base with no pitches.

    I gave her a mako for Christmas when she was in 10u. She hit her first home run with that bat. It was passed down to her sister and subsequently to younger players on rec ball teams. It was still plugging along last time I saw it. I'm trying to talk her into trying something other than a ghost...

    She's tried an RXT and did not like it. Her bff uses an RXT and loves it.

    Thanks for the replies. They use leather balls in the pitching machine at school and her machine at home uses leather. Don't know about not using a ghost on a machine...it pitches slower than a human. All the other broken bats were during games or regular practice. This was yesterday's ghost.

    63 yo retired military, pilot, aircraft inspector, and RN. Came here looking for bat info. I have two granddaughters playing since they were 8 years old. One is now playing middle school and the other varsity high school. Both play travel ball when school is not playing. I support them as much...
