Thanks so much for your thoughts. I hope to show her the comparison and your comments tonight.... or more likely tomorrow. Golf and gymnastics practice tonight so no Internet tonight. Do I tell my daughter...?
This could be the reason as well. Unless she was a stud you weren't going to replace the "known" with an "unknown" and it has nothing to do with her.- sballsally

Stick with team or look elsewhere
Do you want to win or do you want her to play? Last year my daughter played on an awesome A team but was the 3rd catcher behind two HS catchers so she spent most of her time playing right field, when she did play. hahaha I love that comment. My daughter is the catcher and beast on the field!!!! But it cracks me up when she'll pull off her helmet after an hour practice without a break and say, (in her cute little girl voice) "coach, would it be ok if I got a water break after this batter".- sballsally

She is not getting better...
I think this happens with all sports, especially when they are young and still growing. Too much pressure too young doesn't help either. My daughter does gymnastics and when she had a 6" growth spurt almost all of her skills regressed. It tooks months to get them back, and there were many...- sballsally

Hitting form is excellent until game time
My daughter has pretty good hitting form and practices swings on the tee and with no ball or tee. Swings look great, they look good when taking wiffle ball swings. Sometimes we get wrist roll a little too soon, but not bad. Here's where the problem is... During the game she looses all form...- sballsally
