My only concern would be the overall quality of the organization. If the A team gets first pick of all the players who try out, I'm confused as to why that coaching staff wouldn't take the best pitcher available. Why is it important to know how fast your DD pitches?
My daughter is a very good 8u pitcher, but I told her it was foolish (yes, I used that word) of Daddy to spend $65-70/hour on her private lessons. Throwing Drill Needed – Elbow parallel to ground

Thanks for that, Amy and Kevin. I'm going to suggest that, at a minimum, we encourage group warm-ups, which would include throwing and catching. 8u/10u Player evaluations
