In our experience, all the unofficial visits were made by the Head Coach inviting DD through her Travel Coach. DD had made phone calls to speak with them before hand, but all were initiated by the schools she was visiting through our Head Coach.
When DD had one, we utilized Shoeless Joe's reconditioning program every off season. I believe it was like $18. You send them the glove, they tighten it all up and replace any strings needed, and re tan the entire glove. One time we sent it in, and they sent us a Brand New glove without even...
IMO I would go the 14U or 16U route. 14U is the best option based on what I have seen so far. The Coach turn out at 14U Showcases this past Fall has been tremendous. A lot of the bigger D1's are looking at finishing up the 2019's, and even some 2020's. There are schools that have already...
From past experience with these, utilize their reconditioning program. I believe it is $18, and you send them the glove. They will re tan it, and tighten it all up for you. One time, we sent one in and they sent us a brand new glove with tags on it. They do have very good customer service.

DD has a drop 9 LXT Hyper 33/24 that she is not sure she wants to make the switch to. While she decides, we thought we would see if anyone was looking for one. Asking $200 shipped/paypal.
That's awesome! That's exactly what my DD did as well. Her first testing was in July of 2015, and even though she got the invite from the initial testing, she went over her scores to see where she could improve before the Jamboree in January. She improved what she wanted, and others ( 5...
