    recently we held a bake sale/car wash for our LL team and made over $1200 which was great! what else have you done that you'd like to recommend? we are thinking about holding a raffle and raffling off an object like a quilt or something

    "spice up a boring practice drill"! please add the age level(s) you use them for... couple we use: "find the grass game" basically like playing real ball or intrasquad scrimmage) with a couple caveats; if a batter hits the ball to the grass (past the infield) in the air it's a homerun, batter...

    in my opinion that throws logic out the door - haven't those shmoes ever heard the expression "fits like a glove"? ones preferred glove just feels right

    please dont be shy.......o, & don't worry, your competition already knows what drills you do (they spy your practices) >:-) so go ahead and list 'em....;-) i know there are some really good coaches on this board, tryin' ta tap your brains here-also, parents, what drills do your gals rave about...

    personally i think the article should be taken with a grain of salt, not every tryout will be hardcore, each team is different, my advice is, try your best, be attentive and courteous and the rest will take care of itself
