The question about what I would expect the reaction to be if a baseball player was wearing a mask-did make me stop and think for a while- My answer is: He would deserve a XL cup (if you know what I mean...) This "college coaches won't recruit a player with a mask" statement drives me nuts. Am I wrong thinking that if that statement is correct then college baseball recruiters should be doing "cup checks"- the same logic should say if a baseball player wears a cup then they don't trust their fielding...- Diamonds

Thanks for the welcome, I appreciate it. I realize you have obviously studied the swing and can explain it in mind dizzying depth and I am sure the DFPer's appreciate the job you do educating them. With that being said I believe everyone learns differently and what some can spend hours...- Diamonds

Any suggestions to improve my DD's swing?
Right or wrong if this was one of my players I would have her drop her hands 3-4 inches to begin and leave her alone. In my uneducated opinion I think for her age her swing is great and as her confidence grows her hips will get quicker and power increase. If you want to feel better about it come...- Diamonds

First Year 12U - First time coaching girls - Need reassurance/Help
