    wearing soccer cleats for softball?

    Soccer cleats do not have the front tip spike as do the base/softball cleats which is needed for that push off when running. It is a safety issue in soccer when using base/softball cleats.

    Roller Duffel Equipment Bags or Backpack Bat and Equipment Bag?

    Maxballbags.com have a sale right now on backpacks. We are switching to those this coming year. They also have seperate storage shelves in them. They do great team package deals. We used there roller bags for 3 years and my daughters bag is still good to use with a few tears.

    Fundraising $10k quickly?

    We took 4 grand from doing port a pit from Nelsons chicken.That was presale for a week and walk ups.With spring around the corner and not to many peaple doing it yet,it would do real well.

    Get the parents involved. Even if you have to instruct them also.Kids will feel more comfortable with them around.

    building 10u team with not much luck

    I would suggest taking girls from rec and using your first year as a building year. Do 2 practices a week and find some scrimmage games to play, instead of tournaments. Schedule a tourney or 2 for the end of July or early August.A few fundraisers and your year will be payed for. This is how we...

    Both bats Amy pointed out are good aluminum bats. You could also get the Bustos or Rip-It Force for a higher end bat at $100-$150

    Little League Bans Composite Bats

    I always try to find 50-200 hit used bats before i buy new.Cheaper and broken in. My kids would rather have USED high end bats.

    Team Videos on Internet

    I make a video of our first 4 practices and make copys for each girl to take home and take notes. After a week they give me there notes of the video and then i compare to my notes. They enjoy watching thereselves up close.
