Miken MV-3 Light Bat
Trying to find a good composite bat for my 12U daughter. With her not being big strong type hitter, looking for good pop in the bat but also trying to stay on the lighter side. This bat is a -12. Any thoughts on this new 2011 bat? Not very many reviews posted on web. thanks- cseiter

Thanks for the clarification. Your just talking about the loading. I just was not sure of the terms/description used by separate the hands. I am not a tech person but I will do some experimenting with our video camera and see what I can do. I talk to her about loading and I don't want her to...- cseiter

Thank you Howard. I am a little new to the phrases that are used on this site. Great site by the way. "Separate the hands rearward" can you help me understand that one? From your post...I will make up a bat handle 14" long, attach a rope with a knot on one end. Stand in the catchers...- cseiter

DD is starting her first year at 12U. Working (all though not enough for me....with bball, dance & such) on hitting. DD seems to hit fairly well but we are working on getting rid of bat drag issues. Bottom half is working well...good hip rotation, up on the toes with back foot at contact...- cseiter
