    Must be a local thing. I've never heard it in the Midwest. There are way too many accessories to mean much of anything other than how it makes them look.

    It's overall softball program. Not strictly academic. Otherwise just list the Ivy schools, Stanford, et. al. in yet another poll. I do think both Michigan and Alabama should be on that list and close to the top.

    Stay at home moms are still quite common in the Midwest. At least a few per team. Others do odds and ends and have very flexible schedules. No such thing as rush hour in many places.
