If they're going to stay in "primary" they should be throwing some from their knees, IMO. But I haven't seen many at all doing it.
I'm just now introducing knee throwing to my daughter but from a "secondary" stance to begin with.
Eric I watched that game too with my daughter (10 yr old catcher). It's amazing at the lack of fundamentals that many D1 catchers exhibit as it relates to NECC teachings. We commented on that throughout the game.
