Tryout Season (aka Silly Season)
This is so the coach will have an idea of how many roster spots will potentially need to be filled (if any), and which positions prior to holding tryouts. For example, if none of the pitchers provide a deposit, then the coach knows to look for new pitchers.- Bax

Umpires..
If an opposing batter gets on base in this situation, the HC should call time, politely mention to the plate umpire the he/she saw the bunt touch the batter, and ask if the plate umpire would check with the field umpire to see if they saw the same thing. Bunt or dribbler down the first base line who has the right of way?
Usually on a bunt or dribbler down the first base line results in the Pitcher, First Baseman, and Catcher converging into the same area. LL bat rules
I believe LL Softball rules have required the BPF of 1.20 for a while now. It has just been rare for a bat to not qualify, until recently.- Bax

Another Glove recomendation thread
For peace of mind, you could just get one more Mizuno Jennie Finch 11.5" glove that your DD is comfortable with. Then you will have the off season to research and break in a new glove.- Bax
