I’m in the Kasey Cooper high front leg kick camp that promotes timing & torque for smaller, or younger girls. Right patter? ;) Haven’t got to throw this one out in a while!
Who is patter? Is this like when you call your new GF your old GF's name? I did that once with my now wife when we first started dating....

So Cal
I'm in the camp of whatever helps my DD be her best. Current camp activities include rear hip pivot, one-legged launch, and TTB.

Hey, She married you, so it seemed to have worked out once. Have you tried it again? If so, did it still work?

I am in the camp what the pros are saying doesn't appear to be what they are doing but they actually are doing it. They just don't supply context.

Once you understand the context then it all makes sense.

I don't believe the rear leg is the driver.
I don't believe in forced supination.

Get to FYB. Pull the bat down (knob) and straight to lag position using your core. From lag go straight to the ball in a chopping pattern.

Front side needs to be leveraged for multiple reasons:

1. Control of force. Front side keeps you adjustable to off speed.
2. Aides in deceleration of the hips. Without this you do not get proper bat whip.

There are a ton of other things but this is some of the major stuff.

I’m channeling my inner Pattar!

just answer the question. So it’s documented, so we can all laugh later.. Well most of us can laugh later.
You know my camp. I'm worried about my kid only and her flaws at the moment are fairly obvious so I don't need to have a "pattern" to worry about. Once she fixes what currently ails her I will go from there.

Maybe build on her strengths and the flaws will go away 🤷‍♂️
