My daughter is rostered with a 12B team this fall. A local team with some of her friends are 10C and needing a pitcher for the weekend in an OPEN tourney. My daughter is a Jan 03 birthday so is 10u eligible 1 more year. I knows B player cannot play pickup in a C tourney but if Iamreading the rules correctly she can play in an OPEN tourney with a C team correct??? The coach said it is legal but I am just wanting to make sure. thanks.

Ya. Doesn't matter in an open division. She can be a normal A team player and play with a C team, because they are all equally "open".

my thought. why move down 2 levels to play? Keep her using the big ball at 40 feet. Unless its a big social deal for her, I wouldn't do it.

It is totally social. This is just to have fun. She plays strictly competitive 12u normally.
