WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED!!!!

Wife got an excellent pic of the DD catching couple weeks ago. DD claims the pitch was suppose to be screwball WAY outside (righty P, lefty batter) but P missed her mark, threw it WAY inside and the batter swung. DD says she might have even squeeled a lil when the girl swung plus to make it worst......she palmed it with a hyper-extended thumb OUCH!!!

I think that most close their eyes. It is hard not to. I know my DD closed hers when she released the ball. (pitcher)

That's okay. As Amy mentioned, most do this. If you look closely, you will notice that Blue's eyes are also closed.

Yeah I know most do, just the look on her face was funny. MLB catchers close their eyes a lot.

I notice my DD does this as well. We have caught it a few times in pictures. I wondered if it had to do with the dust spray back but it might just be a reaction thing. She wears shades most of the time so its hard to tell.
