Have you ever tried backing up and throwing really slow to over exaggerate? Sometimes that forces the body to adjust
Not exactly but she kills the ball doing the three plate drill. She can time me is my thought

it sounds like her swing Is upper body driven? When you say she can’t wait or has trouble w the faster stuff. Seems like the kinetic chain isn’t working correctly.
Sounds like it's possibly more mental than anything. At times she breaks down really bad and at times really good. Some days she starts so late it unbelievable in games and the same pitcher the next weekend hits everything straight pull.
I have a friend that has one of the better pitches in our area. Lives a couple of hours away and my daughter just lights her up every time we see them. Maybe once or twice a year and he thinks she is the best hitter around. Hit about 200 for the fall but crushes at times. 600 before COVID
And hitting is hard. Some kids are streaky like that. The challenge is taking a “mental snapshot” of what you are doing when you are having success so that you can go back to it when struggling. For example, when I would struggle going back to a middle of the field approach usually worked. When I struggled was usually because I strayed from that. Maybe challenge your daughter to find what her thing is when it’s going well.Sounds like it's possibly more mental than anything.
Yep it is hard. DD couldn't hit to save her life last season lolAnd hitting is hard. Some kids are streaky like that. Tango, are you familiar with the two plate drill? While doing front toss, you set up two plates in line with the front tosser. The hitter then takes 3 swings from the front plate and the 3 from the back and continues to rotate. The purpose of this drill is to help hitters work on timing and adjustability.Have always worked from the loaded position but have made more of an emphasis lately. At times she has one of the shortest powerful swings for her size. At other times her swing is long and loopy.
Here is what Richard says about it. Doing this helped Haley do a better job of timing the pitchers.
