spraying substance on bats?

Buddy of mine was at a 12u tourney yesterday. Said before the championship game the opposing coach was spraying something on the barrel of the girls bats, then took the bottle to his car when he was done. Anyone have a clue what it may have been? Just curious..never heard of that before

The enhancer is made where Clark Griswold works. It is a nonnuclear coating, that puts a thin layer of rubber, that gives it a trampoline effect. It is ten times bouncer then a superball.
