DD is playing in the Firecracker this week (while I'm sitting at home); team was selected for the 16U Super32 "power pool" (means they play the big name teams).

End of pool play, team finished 2-2, including 2 1-run losses in the 7th inning. Pretty darn good for a first-year 16u team from the Pacific NW.

DD finished pool play 6-8 with a triple, a double, and 4 singles. Also RBI groundout and a bases-loaded walk, as well as a sacrifice bunt.

Thank goodness for Gamechanger, Twitter, and text messaging, it's killing me to sit at home while she's back there playing!

great tourney for them.

DD finished the tourney 12-19, a few walks, a few FC RBI, 3 sac bunts.

At least I get to watch the next two tourneys live and in person!!
