You would need to get the tape perpendicular to the axis to tell what is going on with that rotation. The tape orientation is all over the place (horizontal, vertical, angled.. ).
The tape is wrapped around the four seam. The pitch is thrown with the modified rise ball grip shown some 40 pages back. The split of the fingers with middle finger being on the two seam. In person the tape forms a dot at the leading edge. The tighter the dot the quicker the spin.
The 'bullet spin' we see here (below) is what I see frequently for many people's riseballs .... and they do seem to yield the "anti-drop" pitch profiles that folks expect from riseballs ... but perhaps a perfectly thrown 'back spin' riseball would have a different pitch profile ... or would it? Let's see the data from perfectly thrown 'back spin' riseballs.

Ideally I want the spin axis orientated with the dot pointing to the left toward the 10 o'clock position. The bullet spin, counter clockwise is from releasing a little to late. My DD's wrist bent to much and her fingers curled. The 6 to 12 axis or 4-10 spin the wrist locks out the fingers flatten and the thumb comes under the ball.
This spin (with 4-seam tape displaying a "dot") is how my DD throws her "corkscrew curve".
If you can hit 60mph+ with your pitches, I suppose this could be considered a "rise" by many.
My DD is a low-50s, so we don't call it that.
I agree with other posts that a "late release" is part of what gives the ball this spin.
