Pitcher evaluation, please.

Heres video I took last night. DD is still "stepping". I talked to PC, he says her mechanics isnt what hes worried about, its her slow arm circle.

On another note, I talked to another PC that I learned about from a user here. She supposedly teaches similar to Kempf. Im supposed to be setting up a time for a free evaluation.

She leans back before she throws. This makes her whole delivery all out of whack. Tell her PC that one.

Seems to be alot going on here.
1. the lean
2. glove hand swimming a lot ... causes shoulders to turn closed.... increased stress on throwing shoulder
3. late beginning? the stride foot comes down a long time before the release of the ball...

i think a whole lot of non-stepping special k's , and then a stride special k would go along ways to cleaning up the sequence of things. Just start at K, and go from there... see where that takes ya.

I think you might reconsider your pitching coach if he is worried about her "slow arm circle" and not her form. FP nailed it IMO
