Rick Pauley teaches the spinal alignment should be approx 10° behind vertical on rise balls and almost plumb or straight up on drop balls. Not so much for weight distribution but for release angles.
This makes more sense to me than the idea of having the body in the same position for every pitch. If you have the body in exactly the same position then you must control release angles with slight changes in timing of the release and that seems much harder to control then slight body angle adjustments.
I view inside/outside control the same. A slight adjustment in the powerline gives you inside/outside. As opposed to keeping the same powerline and changing release timing.
