Out Count overzealous silliness

Watching the NCAA games that have been in heavy rotation lately and for the life of me i can’t understand all the juvenile hops, arm gestures, summersalts, cartwheels etc when the fielders show the outs after a play. Is that really necessary? It looks very grade school to me and please don’t say it’s fun cause it makes the sport look about as serious as a beer league.

My favorite is when a batter gets walked, and the batter does a celebration like she just hit a homerun. Not talking about a bases loaded walk, just a run of the mill walk to get on base. Some of these celebration are a little too much for my taste.

MLB players have some silly handshakes celebration. Angels have some goofy hat they wear after hitting a homerun. It is possible to have fun and be serious also.
