I need to see if this call is correct. Bases loaded, catcher attempts to pick off runner on first and ball goes out of play. All runners are awarded 2 bases, correct? NSA rules.
Unless there is something really different about NSA, a ball thrown out of play is 2 bases from the time of the throw. In the situation posted, yes, all runners would be awarded 2 bases.
NSA still uses the baseball-derived base awards of two bases from the bases the runners are on at the time of pitch for a first play, or two bases from the time of the throw on a second play. But none of that matters here because the bases held at the time of the pitch and time of the throw are the same.
End result of play: Two runs score, one runner left on third base, batter continues her at-bat.
