this grip can cause the ball to break inside. Also it is too deep in hand to have a lot of speed. Looks more like an inside change up grip
Opinions on grips are probably more varied than those on Chevy vs ______. Play around with grips and find what works for you. Folks can say "do this" or "do that," but ultimately you'll find what works best for each spin. You may even find 2-3 grips (or more) for a given spin. I like to demonstrate that I can throw any pitch with almost the same four seam grip to show it's not so much the grip, but the feel and the motion to get the spin that probably matters more... Experimentation is huge for spin (grip) development.
