What point is Busto exaggerating?
It appears to be lag.

A 'good' hitter does not maintain the 'lag position'. The 'lag position' is simply a position that is passed through.
The 'action' of 'bat lag' is not a 'position', but an action.
You can verify it yourself ... the notion of "maintaining the 'bat lag position'" defies the Hanson Principle. It is not how good hitters swing a bat.
The barrel is being flicked rearward from the lower body movement? Stare at her top hand.
She has the sequence incorrect.
The notion of "maintaining a 'lag position'" is silly. A good hitter does not momentarily freeze the lag position in a 5-frame swing. A good 5-frame swing, which lasts 0.167 seconds, does not have time to momentarily maintain the 'lag position'.
What would happen if we ramped it up to a 10-frame swing? Would there be a momentary freeze at bat lag?

Yeah. She's getting a good stretch keeping her hands almost static while her hip turn starts. Now stare at her front shoulder/elbow......
Every moving part of the swing is an action. Take a snap shot of a certain action and that is the "position" that certain action is in. That is what I mean by position.
