I'm am always looking for new gear and tips and tricks to improve my own game (which is just watching my 2 DDs play). So post your setups here. This is the gear I take to every game in order to livestream games and always capture highlights to be used for making videos of the tournament weekends, and capture those great plays to be used in the future for recruiting.
I mainly use my daughter's phone to stream the games and a second phone for TagUp. I made a mount out of a selfie stick (to be able to reach up high if needed), a garage rake holder turned upside down (to hang on the fence), some bungie straps to hold everything snug, and an attached external battery to run power.
I use some articulating arms on each mount, in order to get just the right placement and avoid any fence in the view.
My wife prefers the FenceClip mini mounts inside of my hanger setup, so use those depending on who's filming.
For TagUp I use an old apple watch to control the feed, so I don't have to be near the backstop. For the GoPros I use old phones with just the GoPro Quik app on them to start and stop the video, mark what I want to keep, and delete files that I don't need.
I have some lens wraps that I can use to hang over the gear, in case it is super warm or raining.
My younger DD's team doesn't not use TagUp, so for them I use a GoPro 7 to capture highlights.
Several backup batteries and cords not only for my gear, but because everyone and their kids know I have extra batteries and cords and always come asking to charge up their devices!
I have a gimble to use to get nice steadycam shots, usually of off field stuff, as will as a hand held gorpro mount.
One cause of random extra parts and pieces in case something breaks.
Everything goes in an old bat bag, so I can hang it on the fence.
