Today was a sad day for me and and girls. We attended a funeral for one of the parents of other girls on the softball team that was sent to heaven on the way home after a game last week. Lots of tears and hugs. The church was packed and the team came as a group wearing their uniforms.

Prayers and thoughts with all
My initial thoughts and prayers are with the children who have lost a parent. Tragic situation for them. But this is a situation that shows how a team can become an extended family. Wearing their uniforms was a nice touch!
I know. What a sad situation. My prayers are with the family.

I feel for you, we lost one as well recently, he coached with me last year, and would have this year if he hadn't had to work so often.
prayers for the family and for the many lives touched by this loss
