My daughter is also a 12U, she attended 2 camps out of state at 2 bigger named colleges over this winter. A few things first I chose ones that ran more than 1 day for a few hours, with the thinking that multiple days means they can reinforce what's being taught or what they are possible fixing. The second thing with committing the pocket book is the life experience she received, things change in life but she will also have that great experience. That's what drove me to spend what I spent, she did come back from each with a couple things fixed, but overall it enhanced her love and drive for the game.
