Help Scoring This Play

Tonight my daughter hit a nice line drive through the right center field gap,that rolled to the fence. The center field got it, and threw it to the 2nd baseman. Meanwhile, our coach had her try to stretch it to 3rd. Their 2nd baseman threw to 3rd and she was called out. I think she was safe because she slid under the tag, but thats another story. Does she get credit for a double, then out when caught stealing? Or is it just an out, and no hit at all? I dont do book, so I have to ask.

Its a double. The out happened not on a steal but when she tried to stretch a hit into a triple, so its still a hit, but also an out.
