DD has always been a decent pitcher. Stays around the plate, didn't walk many, didn't strike out many, and won most games with a solid defense behind her. She's really taking another step this spring. One of two pitchers on her high school JV team, she's 4-0 in four starts, has a save. Last night she and our other pitcher, also very strong, combined for the best performance of the season so far: only on runner reached base - on a catcher interference - and only one ball even left the infield. Team won 13-0, and DD even hit her first HR (inside the park). We're now 8-1. DD's ERA is 1.09, and K/BB ratio is 10. And she's hitting .429.

Proud of the results, but even more proud of the work she puts in to continue improving.
