Wow - this must be the year for it! My dd's travel team got nailed this year! We had a pitcher get a line drive back in the face, had a rip it on, but still fractured her nose! Same pitcher got a line drive back in the right knee cap (follow through leg) no time to react! (fluid on the knee, bad bruise - back on the field the next night) & another pitcher got a line drive into the chest! I am so glad they make the protective gear out there for these girls!
