"California" Bunt?

Since "California Bunt" is not defined in either rule book, break it down. Are any of the actions the batter is doing while performing this feat of Californianess illegal?

I think that is Butte County but they are probably illegal at most softball complexes. Unless your catcher needs it for medicinal purposes.

Well, since the umpires are blind, it must be glaucoma, so those blunts may come in handy.

May have seen this nonsense a few weeks ago in ASA. Hitter took bat behind back. First time swing and miss. Second time hit by rise that was up and in. Did not see it the rest of the game.

I'm still waiting for the OP to let us know what a California bunt is. There has been so much fun speculation I'm sure the explaination will be something of a let down.
