Big THANK YOU to those who have posted about pars fractures!!

My dd teammate who pitches on her TB team with her was just dx with a pedicle/pars stress reaction with incomplete fracture. She had been complaining of back pain off and on for the last year, but started playing club volleyball this spring which exacerbated the problem. I am an MRI tech and talked her mom into letting me sneak her in and scan her back and that is how we found it. I just wanted to thank RubberBiscuit, bucket pinata and others for posting about their experiences and trying to get the word out. If I hadn't been reading DFP everyday and learned a little about these injuries the dx might have been complete fx and more recovery time. It is amazing how many doctors don't know about these injuries. Anyways I vote for a Pars fracture sticky just in case those good threads get buried. Also a big thanks to BM and JS for transforming my 4 daughters from push to pull pitchers. They would also like to say thanks for the extra mph and k's.
