Bernstein said a couple of really good movement principles.

“The body will organize itself based on the ultimate goal of the activity”

Meaning the body will organize itself based on the goal.

I took that from a book I’m reading , 100 mph hitter. Small book, good so far.

External target. Sounds like Dixon's Natural swing. I believe it works for the natural athlete. Somebody from early on that has thrown, wrestled, fought, since they were young have a natural instinct.

This is next level "feel vs real" stuff shawn!

For some people you might need to set a goal totally counterintuitive! Ive seen this golf drill work in really impressive ways both for myself and others.

The key is to find the "goal" for the player that gets the desired results IMO.

This is a promotion of two-legged hitting, which is fine for golf, but not for softball/baseball. This style of two-legged hitting promotes a long swing.

Don't want to get into one legged vs two legged but Henry Aaron recently passed away. Ever hear of him?

Both ways work but I certainly wouldn't say 2 leg is a long swing by a long shot.
