So our Jugs jr has been broken for a few years, it still works, but only fires at max speed, which according to my ballcoach is 65-63 mph. That speed is fine for travel, but playing HS ball, I need to reduce the speed (and the knob does nothing when turned).
I called Jugs and ordered a new circuit board, but when I hooked it up and cranked it up full speed, it only hits 47mph. I called and the service guy was baffled, and sent out another one, and same thing, machine hits 47mph with both new panels. When I put the old one on, it hits 65mph again (machine is only supposed to go to 60mph, but mine goes faster).
I really don't want to pay to ship this machine to jugs for service, it's a 2004 model and probably a better bet to buy a new one, but wondering if anyone here has any ideas on what might be the issue? Jugs seems to have no answers, so it's not something common I think.
