Wow! First off, thanks for my DD's video in slow motion and into a GIF. Then you put it side by side with other swings to compare to! Awesome. (If some can explain how to do that, that would be awesome)!
I appreciate all the info. My DD attended a softball camp today with Alabama's head coach Pat Murphy. I watched some of the drills he worked on in the camp and also talked to one of the other coaches that was also in attendance (I believe she was from UNI). She explained what she saw with my DD's swing and it matches most of the comments posted here. It was a big help asking her some of the points mentioned here yesterday during our conversation. Now I know what I am looking for and will address these issues during our next batting session. One thing that was brought up here and re-iterated during today's conversation was to work on front toss and stay out of the batting cage for now. Work on mechanics using 20 foot soft-toss behind a net for safety or use a tee into a net. Either way is good and will focus more on mechanics than timing a swing against a 60 mph ball.
Overall my DD did well at today's camp. She was approached by several coaches and asked questions which was nice. We went to get technical help on a few areas, not so much for exposure.
Thanks again for all the help & advice.
