Thanks for the tips, what do you mean by load her hands with her body?
We do more front toss than machine work, still can't figure out why she tends to be early

So if you put your hands at you rear shoulder in ready position, they can be loaded up and back either 1) by moving your arms/hands themselves through space or 2) loading your body, ie, coiling into rear leg, getting sat, getting some pullback with your back, which will as a result cause the hands *to get loaded* up and back.
As for being early on front-toss, she needs to understand an "out-from" bat path and the proper contact point. Front toss her away and only allow her to hit opposite or middle line drives, anything else is a "miss." For girls that are always early or have an "around" bat path I'll pitch front toss at a medium speed, focusing on outside pitches as I said above. When they start being successful with that, then I'll do a session of very slow toss, even with some arc, and they'll really need to work on staying closed/hitting out-from/being on time vs. early/and getting a deep contact point or they'll just pull everything. That sort of front-toss work with a purpose is really crucial...they should have a "body" goal, ie they should be working certain mechanics points of emphasis, AND a result goal, ie, oppo or middle line drives vs. just making contact.
Hmm, I find that with a really good bat path, that early would result in a steeper trajectory, and being late, would create driving the ball hard into the ground.

You're right.
You see, lasted not even 24 hours Im all ears Five? I do not have his book, so i cannot say. I posted to shots of miggy, i cannot see it any other way.
did Williams ever drop his barrel down? Or did he bend his front leg, and crouch down?
