whats the best radar for personal use

Just to use in practices, occasional check ins. DD has been "clocked" on at least 3, if not 4, different people's radars and the results vary 1-2 mph in either direction so it's hard to tell if she's really making progress. I think it's time to get our own, consistent, monitoring since she's going to focus on increasing her speed this year. thanks

Pocket Radar Coach is the best and reasonably priced.

In reality as long as you use the same radar every time, you can see if speed is up or down. The actual number is somewhat irrelevant (to a point anyway)

I have the pocket radar ball coach. They're supposed to be more accurate than the gun style cheaper ones like Bushnell. I know mine is, though other pitchers' parents don't like it. It tends to read a few MPH slower than the other kind. But it's right, so...

Pocket Radar here also...ball coach model. Like marriard said, it doesn't really matter what you buy since they will all be mostly consistent so all you really need to know if she's improving or not via whatever you end up purchasing.

Use the Pocket Radar Ball Coach. So far pretty consistent readings and no problems.

You may want to hold off on buying a radar gun till black friday. Seems like that had a great buy on the ball coach last year. Maybe around 100 bucks after rebates.

I have both the Pocket Radar Ball Coach and the Stalker II. I occasionally use the Stalker II for very specific conditions and it lives in my truck. But I am never without the PR in my bag.

thanks! pocket radar ball coach it is. Black Friday deal possible? I can certainly wait for that.

We are in no hurry as she's on break right now. When we start up again I wanted a base reading, and then to be able to track her progress periodically. I don't care what the reading actually is as much as if we see progress or not. Being able to have the portability to bring it to games it a plus as she sometimes looks like she slows down in games as well , would like to be able to see for sure if she is.
