boy I wouldn't stray from IR to me personally theres no comparison with the mechanics and the caliber of pitching the better they get at with IR vs HE with the info on this site, video's,commentary, etc. here if you put the time in with your DD to make sure her mechanics are sound and shes consistent her pitching will speak for herself. when I started looking for a PC for my DD I did my research for our area and a # of people kept pointing me into the direction of a particular coach well he came and watched my DD pitch a couple games and wanted to coach her well I asked him point blank if he taught IR his response was he had never heard of it well that was the end of that convo. and I taught my DD for another year completely on everything I had learned here and believe me it was a lot of practice from both my DD and Myself. but I lucked out and found actually a team with a PC that actually teaches everything that this site offers so now I just watch and help my DD on off time to hone her skills :)

They don't need to Doug! They've been coaching for xx years/used to pitch in college. Lol

Rick Pauly, who likely knows far more about proper pitching mechanics than any you're dealing with, is one of the most curious I've ever met. That is, he's always learning, and knows there's more to learn. I want to remain curious. There is nothing worse than running into people who believe they've learned it all, but haven't, especially those who aren't even close.
