Here is a recent video of my daughter taken today. First pitch, her change up. Second pitch, fastball. Any input is greatly appreciated

You know the more I see pitchers the more I just kind of think there are two paths to being a power pitcher.....for lack of a better description let's call them the Ally Carda technique and the Cheridan Hawkins technique to use two very good current pitchers with vastly different mechanics. Both are very effective, but they do so in completely different ways.

Hunt down some video of those two pitchers and see which one your DD resembles.

In looking at the older video and the current one, it seems she has gotten more powerful, but did this by adding a replant and not by improving her whip and brush. Not a criticism necessarily because Ally Carda has gone pretty darn far with a very similar motion.

I would say she is more Ally Carda than Cheridan Hawkins.

The pitching coach has been working a lot to improve leg drive. As far as improving her arm whip, what are some ways to help? I know when she went to Amanda Scarborough pitching clinic, dd was complimented on her drive but Amanda did mention for dd to keep her arm closer to her body.
