Some good raw talent but it appears that most have considerable work ahead of them to play for their respective schools.

Not impressed with what I saw on video. Maybe live would be better to judge, but on video, sorry don't see what the big deal is with these pitchers?
Lots of wasted motion is being used by most of them. Keep it simple.

Nearly all SoCal pitchers. I'm not sure who teaches pitching down there, but I honestly think that most of their talent comes from facing really really really really good hitting on a day to day basis and having to figure out what works on their own.

At the end of the day is there any better instruction than this? Pitching mechanics are one thing, being a pitcher is sooooo much more. Even with a coach calling, a pitcher has a lot of individual decision making they bring to the table on each pitch. I always go back to Osterman. Still owning the highest level, with some mechanical flaws, without dominant speed but with a database of how to get a hitter out that is unrivaled.
She also has a leap in her delivery and I always wonder about her when I see comments about illegal pitchers. No one ever seems to say "Cat is illegal and needs to fix it" funny how that works.
^ Right. Smooth would not define the girls in the video. Maybe we are getting away from pitchers and are creating more chuckers, than anything. Osterman is so refined that she always reminds me of a great big spider.
I'm kind of partial to this listed player and her coach.
