I couldn't believe this, so a parent sent me the rules. So, LL is allowing one girl to pitch 12 innings per day, and at the minor and major level she still needs a day of rest after 6 innings. But, there is no longer a limit for the older girls.

All of this is quite different than it was last year.

For all stars, I believe the old rule for majors was a day of rest after 2 innings and 9 innings in a day. Now majors girls can pitch 12 innings and need a day of rest if pitching after 6 innings? Are you saying that is what changed?

I wonder if this rule has changed because there are less LL pitchers now with more girls playing TB and other sports.

Can you PM me your e-mail? I will send you the file that she sent me. I swore that it had to be a typo, but she sent me the pages from the rules.

This is what the umpire manual from last year shows:
Minors (10U) 6 per day, 6 per week and 1 day rest if pitched 2+ innings in a day
Majors (12U) 9 per day, 18 per week and 1 day rest if pitched 2+ innings in a day
Juniors+ (14U+) 10 per day, 30 per week and 1 day rest if pitched 5+ innings in a day

I have not heard of any significant changes to LL pitching rules for this year.

I finally was able to copy it.

Item 4 – Affects Regulation VI(b) – Pitchers – All Divisions of Softball
(a) Minor/Little League (Majors) Division: A player may pitch in a maximum of twelve (12) innings in a day. If a player pitches in more than six (6) innings, one calendar day of rest is mandatory. Delivery of a single pitch constitutes having pitched in an inning.
Junior/Senior/Big League: No pitching restrictions apply unless implemented by the local league/district. Synopsis: This would revise the softball pitching regulations for Regular Season and Tournament.

So, I thought that maybe the change was just "proposed" and didn't pass, but I have the vote and it passed with 96% voting to approve.
