Nothing like a good New Zealand haka...Their rugby union teams are awesome (especially since they are all HUGE especially when you see them in person) - they had to put rules in to separate teams - the Australian teams used to stand RIGHT in front of them during the haka to show they were not intimidated and it caused issues. All their national teams do it - almost all sports.
Their Rugby 7's team do it with their shirts off.
When anyone other then the All Black's do the Haka, it looks bad
I totally agree with this. I played rugby in college in the late 80's and early 90's and I used to watch(VCR recordings!) in awe every time the All Blacks did the Haka. Now it seems everyone wants to make it their own thing regardless of sport. It sacrilegious IMO.
Tonga has their Sipi Tau, and Samoa their Siva Tau

Notice the Samoan and Tongan players tend to be Polynesian, while the NZ players some are and some aren't Maori.
I gather the All-Blacks spend an incredible amount of time on their Hakas, more than some of their competitors spend on Rugby.

I played in college as well at La Tech 96-98. Where did you play?
