We had all bats tested this weekend at Nationals. Then before each game they were presented for inspection of the sticker. We lost two Xeno's and LXT's for handle twist at the barrel during pregame inspection. Blue told us they had a whole pile of them in the trailer for the same thing.
I was wondering if anyone had a list of things that you would share for new coach to use as guidelines.
Some things come to mind
1 Meet girls in dugout before practice instead of sitting in parking lot talking with other dads
2. Have written lesson plan for the practice
3. Team building...

Buy a batting cage. If you do want to hit inside the cage then cut off the back 10 ft or so and have home plate on inset a couple feet so anything going up or back is caught and anything going forward is in play.
