    1.. Bases loaded. A ground ball hit to SS. She stops the ball clean. Looks around and tosses the ball to P while runners are going around bases. Since she made zero attempt to get an out is that an error? 2.. Ball hit to the pifcher she lifts her leg to get out of the way and ball passes by...

    Dropped 3rd strike

    So would I record the first 2 fouls as strikes for the pitcher? And I am talking about a ball that is hit and called foul ball by the ump regardless of if the catcher should have caught it.

    Howdy Folks, When keeping stats on pitchers where do you put the dropped 3rd strike? Is it marked as a strike and when that runner scores you count the run as an earned run?

    Question: When do increases in speed taper off?

    This is a great thread and perfect timing. DD is working on correcting mechanics and speed had dropped. She is very discouraged. Can't wait to show her this. I tell her daily why her speed is down but I'm just mom. Thank you all!!!

    Hope it stays at least half as good for the upcoming weekend. Tourney planned. Jonesen for some softball and hope it doesn't get rained out. So far only a 30% chance. Fingers crossed.

    Don't give up coaching!!!!!!!!! :( Social media is horrible yes. But a girl who acts that way on social media probably acts that way all the time. Just make rules like everybody suggested. Keep a big roster so you have room to cut a player when needed.
