I have three but I'm sure DD would have my head if she found out i sold one of her favorite bats. The 5 is a great bat. Has your DD :eek:tried the 8 yet? Mine has and she likes it even more. Claims its even better than the Phenix.
Im so happy i can post in the shameless parent bragging forum. 😊
DD is a college freshman. She's battling some pretty good older players for a starting position. Well....
She got her first official at bat last week. A pinch hit. First pitch, line drive to the fence for a 2 rbi double. It...
I don't agree with the "this is a cash grab" idea. Over the last few years Easton has been more or less replace in the batter's box by LS's and CF's. You still see old Easton's but it's rare so replacing old Easton's only applies to a small number of people and like it or not, a lot of those...
ASA instituted mandatory testing of bats before nationals last summer. In the 30 minutes i was in line and could see the test bench, the bats that failed significantly more than most ... old Easton bats.
Maybe that has something to do with this.
My bad, I assumed the 32. Also, I agree it probably hurt 18G more than Premier. However, 18G vs JO Cup? Still ASA either way. Only PGF lost teams to the other on that one and some really good ones at that.
18G was short like 10 or 11 teams but there were 32 at the new JO Cup. Some of those teams would have been at 18G, some had standing invites/return berths at PGF and would have been there other wise. It will be interesting to see what happens next year with interest in the JO Cup and PGF's...
For me, this would be a red flag. I'm not saying there's anything foul going on but this is perfect set up for a parent to game the system. All four JV pitchers on one team coached by a parent who's DD was the no. 4 pitcher? Personally, I'd steer clear of that situation. This is especially...
When you start discussing how a high school kid fails to handle national media relations ... well, you might be overreacting. Kind of like how people are overreacting to the video.
Awesome correlation, now her actions are on par with a President lying to a nation. Next thing you know, someone will claim she's part of Al Quida or ISIS.
It's not all that's happening. It's gone main stream and social media now. ESPN and others are running stories on it and it's all over Facebook and Twitter not to mention every softball forum in the world at this point. What this girl did was egregious but what shes experiencing in return...
IMO both parties are at fault. Granted, by the rules the catcher should have gave-way knowing she had no play at home. She clearly knew the runners were coming and chose not to. Bad form. The runners also knew there was no play at home which is why neither one of them slid. Instead, both chose...
Frogg Togg: Chilly Pad® - COOLING
Hold between iPad and hand or slip it between the iPad and cover. Been doing this for years and iPad never overheats.
Did your antenna go up because you might have convicted rapist at your games or because you have a parent who treats the topic so casually?
As a parent, if you came to me with this and asked if it was okay, I'd have to question why you're even asking. You're the coach. You don't need a vote...
Be wary of Legit Softball Camp. They planned a camp in Atlanta this past winter and cancelled it due to "lack of interest". Initially we were told the refund would take a month to post. To date, no refund despite several emails, including one where it was promised to be addressed the next...
Is the apathy in the dugout .... or the stands? Also, what's your definition of "tangible" success? Winning state? Making it to regionals? Not getting run ruled? Tangible says to me you need trophy. You might be disappointed if so.
But, if its about the girls, that's easy....make sure...
