    Transitioning from No Backswing to Backswing

    Have been watching his videos for a couple of years now, he with myself as an middleman, has taught my daughter what she knows. Now, for the first time will be seeing him for the first time, i think i am more excited than my DD. On second thought, she is pretty excited right now.

    When did your DD first throw 60 mph?

    DD she just turned 14, has hit 55, but control and mechanics fall off the table, starts to muscle up and it gets ugly. Have gone back to relaxed feel it and throw the ball, still high 40's maybe 50. I don't bring out the radar very often tends to be a distraction. Using Pocket Radar.

    This pitch to glove video was a year old and was using it in an attempt to help her gain control of the glove. She still does the full pitch to glove on occasion but usually only when she is warming up and catcher is not ready.

    Thank you everyone, after spending time talking to her and taking a look from the rear, I was noticing that she is arching her back trying to pull down hard, using lots of muscle. Reiterated staying tall and relaxing. this has helped with the coming across the power line.
