A couple years back I was doing some research on buying adjustable extensions for the outfield fence on one of our fields. The goal to allow for older age play.

No runners on. Hit to SS, who throws the ball to 1B. Throw is a little off target. 1B knocks it down but does not have it yet....she reaches down and grasps it with her barehand...
Now, the ball is on the ground....she has it in her hand.....the runner hits the base.
Is she out or safe...
I think I have seen this mentioned off and on in a couple of threads, but I was not able to find a specific thread to talk about it and maybe it is just not thread-worthy... :-)
But basically, there seems to be 2 theories for throwing hand placement, behind the glove or behind your back down...
So my team this season was not bad....we have made it to the championship game, which got rained out tonight so now we have it on Monday...

Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations of a sturdy video camera that would allow a high frame rate capture (at least 60FPS). The goal to shoot hitting and pitching for later analysis.
Actually, is 60FPS even sufficient to for analysis...
The set up:
B1 on 3b and B2 on 2B and 2 outs. B3 hits a slowish ground ball down the 1st base line about 1 to 1.5 feet inside the foul line. F3 comes up to make a play while B3 is running towards the base. As F3 fields the ball inside fair territory B3 collides with her in fair territory...
Just looking for some thoughts on everyone's part...
DD of the coach of the opposing team is pitching. She starts with her foot on the plate and then takes a step back to do her load and her pitch. This is like rec league C ball and while I know it is illegal, I let the first batter go....I...
