It was awhile back. There are a cpl of the ones I'm looking for in this new post. The older post may have been made by Ken b or doug. It also had 2 step drill and a cpl other videos
I've been saying this about haegar since she came to uf. Even her curve is just an outside pitch with bullet spin. So what's more important location and speed or movement.
5 games let's say avg 5 innings each. 25 innings 16 pitches an inning. 400 pitches plus another 125 pitches with 5 warmup pitches per inning. And I'm guessing she warmed at least 3 times pregame so another 150 pitches. I'm guessing she was closer to 700 pitches.
If she's gonna slide the push foot that far left. Then stride on to stripe in the center she has to clear the hip in order to get the ball to go middle which causes the lean. Even with that being said I don't think her lean is bad.
It looks like she's getting her hand on top of the ball down the backside of the circle. Have her lead with the elbow, have a slight bend in the arm and get the ball facing the sky at 9 o'clock
I wouldn't say DD riseball rises but she does get decent back spin. She's always lead with the pinky thru release. I've been fighting it for years. Now I'm thinking why fight it. Let her throw it and let's what happens.
DD is 12 she's been pitching for about 3.5 years. When she throws her fb inside or high it has bullet spin most of the time. When she throws fb aways it gets semicurve spin. She's been working on a drop for a couple of years and it's ok. Sometimes it's flat and sometimes it has good down spin...
