Your community rec league. Likes? Dislikes? What would you change?
Our local league just puts an add in community newspaper and has our schools put a blurb in the school newsletters that go home monthly. I dont know much on the " recruitting" aspect but in our area...keeping them coming back is the problem. Our coach pitch sb rec league is a success. 11-12...- wcsoftball

Could pitching cause this?
Pain or no pain-- I would have her see an orthopaedic surgeon for a second opinion, preferably one who specializes in sports medicine or shoulder/arm issues. This would be their area of specialty:)- wcsoftball

Sunglasses
DD wears Rip It mask while pitching, so she does wear sunglasses since her visor will not fit. She doesn't wear them to bat, says helmet plus sunglasses is too dark. Trips to the Mound
I totally agree with Amy -- at 10u they need help sometimes to calm themselves down. My 9 yo DD was pitching, bottom of 6th, we were up by 3 runs. A couple batters hit, my DD walks 3 in a row. We are now down by only one run, bases are loaded, one out. I could see the frustration in her body...- wcsoftball
