Stats...who is credited
When doing stats, who do you credit for the strikeout? Pitcher? or Catcher? I read somewhere that it is credited to both position, as long as it isn't a dropped third.- Denee

Play is considered Ended
When is the play considered ended or ball considered dead? Example. Pitcher pitches to the catcher...catcher walks back to pitcher with ball. Runner on third could legally run in, right? catcher throwing to first on dropped third strike
Where or how do you teach your catcher to throw the ball when there are been a dropped third strike and batter begins to run? My catcher is afraid that she might hit the runner. Do you suggest step in toward field? If they throw down on the right then 1b has to step into the path of runner.- Denee

Pitcher step backward...legal?
Last night we played a new team. Their pitcher did not start with both feet on the rubber, which I know is legal. The question though is.....is she allowed to take the non-pivot foot and STEP backward then begin her motion? I honestly do not recall the location on the hands at this point. Not...- Denee
